CAROLYN TATE – Conscious Marketing for Montessori & Independent Schools
While we’ll be exploring the Montessori story in this workshop, the principles of conscious marketing, purpose and story can be applied at any school, so we encourage all members from the Independent Schools network to join us.
How do we position and market the Montessori brand in a conscious way so that our schools and centres are filled to capacity? How do we grow our community, create a movement and increase our impact? What local activities can each school/centre undertake to create awareness of the value of a Montessori education to attract new families?
Carolyn Tate is a professional writer and teacher and author of Conscious Marketing and The Purpose Project. She believes that a clearly articulated PURPOSE, brought to life through STORY and COMMUNITY are the foundations on which to build the Montessori brand. She’s been bringing these principles to life in the business world since 2001 and is now turning her attention to the world of education. You can purchase Carolyn’s books here.
In this interactive workshop you’ll;
- Discover the basic tenets of Conscious Marketing.
- Learn how to tell the Montessori purpose story to create a global movement.
- Explore how each school/centre can tell this story to build local community.
Through break-out groups and team work, we’ll be working on a Talk on Purpose – a 3-minute TED-like talk that brings the Montessori purpose to life through the power of story. This story can be shared anywhere any time by everyone to grow the global movement and your local community.
If you register for this workshop, Carolyn would love to have a conversation with you to explore your unique marketing challenges and how this workshop can be of most benefit to your school/centre.
This workshop is part of MSCA’s Education Series: Events for Montessori educators, parents, and leaders. The DML events comprise two workshops throughout the year for Montessori leaders and board members. All MSCA events will be delivered online in 2021.
We encourage live-attendance at our events so that you can gain the most out of the session. However this event will be recorded and made available to view for a limited time by ticket holders who cannot attend the live workshop. Please notify email@example.com if you will require the recording.
