Session 1: Essential Elements of a Bush Playgroup 

Ainsley’s session will focus on the core or essential elements of a Bush Playgroup. This will include routine, activities, parent involvement, Montessori curriculum inclusion and some helpful playgroup hints.
ABOUT AINSLEY: Ainsley Roscrow is the CEO and Director of Montessori Children’s Centre in McLaren Vale which has been operating for over 12 years. She is the founder of Inmakaso Montessori Teacher Training, the training arm of the McLaren Vale Centre. Ainsley is a highly experienced and passionate Montessori educator who has worked in Montessori Education for over 15 years. Ainsley has worked in Montessori classrooms in Indigenous communities in Northern Australia, as well as leading the Montessori program at her Centre In McLaren Vale.

Session 2: The Social Media Revolution

Sylvia’s session will help you understand how maximising your online reach is key to building and shaping parent communities in the childcare sector. Dive into the realm of marketing and social media to maximise the impact your brand and centre has on its target audience.
ABOUT SYLVIA: Sylvia has had over 10 years experience in Montessori teaching and is the founder and director of My Montessori (0-6 yrs) School in Sydney. Her passion for children’s learning and development, as well as supporting and educating parents, has been fundamental in developing her well-established Guide & Grow brand, which is the largest online Montessori support platform for parents in the world. Sylvia holds an International Montessori 0-3yrs diploma, 3-6 assistants certificate, International Communications degree and a Masters in Teaching specialising in early childhood (0-5 yrs) (Honours) from Macquarie University.

Session 3: Staff Wellbeing and Mental Health in the Workplace

Mandy’s session will explore her recent experience of turning a centre around in the area of staff wellness and mental health, providing practical tips for others to implement in their centres.
ABOUT MANDY: Mandy Lauderdale is the Educational Leader at Building Futures Forest Lake Centre in QLD. She holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care as well as AMI 3and 6-12 Diplomas.
