Pre and Primary School
Inner Sydney Montessori School is currently seeking trained assistants to join our Early Childhood community. The roles are full-time (part time available for the right applicants), term time or 48 weeks, from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday.
The successful candidates will be joining one of our Transition to Preschool classes, for children from 26 to 36 months of age. Children in this classroom attend independently of their family and are transitioning to our Stage 1 Preschool and Kindergarten classes, at 3 years of age.

About You:
The successful candidates will be enthusiastic educators with a minimum ACECQA recognised Certificate III in Children’s Services (or actively enrolled). Reputable Montessori Diplomas or Montessori Orientation Certificates are an advantage but not necessary. Applicants must be committed to inclusive learning practices, be a team-player and love working with curious and engaging children.
You must have full Australian working rights, with no restrictions. You will have a Working with Children Check number, a Child Protection Certificate (CHCPRT001) and a valid ACECQA recognised first-aid and CPR qualification are also essential, however, the School would support the successful applicant to obtain these, if necessary.

- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Curious and engaged lifelong leaner;
- A growth mindset and highly self-motivated; and
- Dedicated and reliable early childhood education practitioner.
