Inner Sydney Montessori School is seeking a trained assistant educator to join our Preschool and Kindergarten (3-6 years) team. This is a permanent full-time role.

Established in 1981, Inner Sydney Montessori School (ISMS) is a leading provider of Montessori education for children from birth through to completion of primary school. Our vision is to provide a comprehensive and authentic Montessori education which allows each child the freedom to discover themselves, develop their whole being and embrace the joy of learning, that extends well beyond the classroom.
About You:
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic educator with a minimum Certificate III in Children’s Services. A reputable 3-6 Montessori Diploma or 3-6 Montessori Orientation Certificate is an advantage but not necessary. Applicants must be committed to inclusive learning practices, be a team-player and love working with curious and engaging children.
You must have full Australian working rights, with no restrictions. You will have a Working with Children Check number, a Child Protection Certificate (CHCPRT001) and a valid ACECQA recognised first-aid and CPR qualification are also essential, however, the School would support the successful applicant to obtain these, if necessary.

The ability to ignite the flame of learning and to nurture a child’s natural curiosity of the world around them, instilling a passion of continuous growth and development that lasts a lifetime;
Have a passion for children’s development;
Develop strong, nurturing relationships with the children based on respect and trust;
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
