The Role

Montessori Academy is currently recruiting for passionate, qualified and experienced Montessori Diploma trained Teachers to join our existing teams at multiple locations. The successful applicant will have an in-depth understanding of the Montessori Early Years Curriculum, the Montessori Philosophy of education, and the National Quality Framework. This role is highly dynamic and creative, giving the right candidate the opportunity to deliver a truly inspiring Montessori early learning experience.

Key Competencies:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
• Strong understanding of the importance of family communications
• Strong understanding of the Montessori Philosophy
• Experience working with preschool aged children
• Well versed with Montessori learning materials, the curriculum areas, and progression
• Passionate about implementing Montessori early learning programs
• Commitment to the holistic development of their class

Essential Criteria:
• Montessori Diploma qualification (or equivalent)
• Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA verified equivalent)
• Current Working with Children Check
• First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one
• Excellent understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, which includes: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
