The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for a creative, dedicated, and collaborative Lead Teacher to guide a 3-6 year-old classroom. We are looking for someone who is not just a teacher but a true guide – someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is also able to take initiative. - Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A warm, caring, and patient manner with children
- The flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the classroom and school community
- Experience with transparent classroom or online record-keeping
Person Specifics:
You’ll thrive in a setting that values growth and excellence. You’ll be working alongside skilled and committed educators, and your ability to engage and inspire children will be central to your success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Work rights to enable you to work in Australia
- An Early Childhood Teaching degree or a similar qualification approved by the Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- Montessori teacher qualifications (AMI preferred)
- Ideally, 3-5 years of experience working with preschool-aged children
- Child protection qualification approved by the NSW Regulatory Authority
- Valid Working with Children Check
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQF)
- First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (can be provided if not already completed)
