Located in Pymble, Sydney, Northside Montessori School is a well-established and highly regarded Montessori school which caters for students in early childhood, primary and secondary. Northside has long been committed to offering a robust and authentic Montessori education.

Our vibrant school community is looking to employ an experienced Enrolments and Community Relations Administrator who will work with parents and staff to promote the opportunities and values that Montessori education provides. This position is a key role in the delivery of the School’s mission to provide high quality Montessori education.

This role is often the first point of contact for prospective school families and as such the successful applicant requires strong interpersonal skills with the confidence and the ability to build strong connections with parents throughout the enrolment process and beyond. A knowledge of Montessori education is essential.

Coordinating events and building community is also a key element of this role, requiring strong organisational skills. The role will also be handling important information and so attention to detail is imperative to be able to manage and deliver clean and concise information.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the enrolment process, ensuring effective and efficient flow of information and process.
  • Manage records and information in accordance with all relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Organise and lead personal school tours and follow-up with prospective families.
  • Develop, implement and monitor the enrolment strategy detailing new enrolments, retentions and  community relations activities in collaboration with the Business Manager and Principal.
  • Provide timely and regular data reports and updates on enrolment applications, to the leadership team and other stakeholders including enrolment data analysis, enrolment forecast, composition of student cohorts, student transitions, etc.
  • Provide accurate information required for government compliance.
  • Coordinate and participate in school events, expos, orientation and open days and other relevant activities.
  • Support management to maintain the school’s presence on social media and online.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships and collaborate with staff, school families and community.

 

About you:

  • Proven experience in enrolment management or a related role.
  • Montessori education experience or solid knowledge.
  • Strong initiative and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise demands.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and data analysis skills.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality and commitment to daily operations.
  • Solid understanding of school databases to manage enrolments and other student data – knowledge of Enquiry Tracker and FACTS management is an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of desktop publishing applications e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, including spread sheets.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with a can-do attitude.
