Encouraging curious, independent, lifelong learners

Perth Montessori is experiencing a period of growth, with demand for places in the Children’s
House set to reach 60 places by the end of 2024. Therefore, we are excited to invite
applications from registered early years teachers with Montessori qualifications and
experience to join our team in Term 3, 2024.

The Guide (teacher) is responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and inclusive
education according to Montessori practices and principles to students in multi-age groups.
The Children’s House caters for students from 3 to 6 years in Pre-Kindy, Kindy and Pre-
Primary.

Initially, you will work as part of a team of three – you, another teacher and assistant – to
lead and support a class of 30 students. At the start of 2025, the group will be reformed into
two classes with each teacher leading one.

The successful candidate will be a passionate, reflective and dedicated Montessori educator,
who finds joy in supporting young children and their families. You will be a team player, keen
to collaborate and tackle challenges with your colleagues. You exercise humility and
compassion, and actively contribute to building a workplace culture based on trust and
respect. You are open to feedback and learning, demonstrating a growth mindset and a
solutions-focused approach to facing challenges.

Master of Teaching) with early years certification.
b. Montessori certification for ages 3-6 from a recognised Montessori training centre.
