This is a full-time position for a registered teacher, preferably with Montessori training and experience, in an upper primary classroom (Cycle 3: ages 9 to 12). As a Montessori guide, you will plan, develop and deliver a Montessori-based curriculum to children aged 9-12 years. This includes creating a nurturing environment that promotes independent thought and interest-based learning while meeting the unique needs of each child.

You will work collaboratively as part of the primary school team (ages 6-12) and with other staff to support the school’s strategic priorities and develop yourself professionally.

• A teaching qualification recognised for registration by the TRBWA (B.Ed., Dip. Ed., Master of Teaching),
• Montessori certification for ages 6-12 from a recognised Montessori training centre (highly desirable).
• Demonstrated experience as a Montessori guide for children aged 6-12 years (highly desirable) and a genuine passion for the Montessori method.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to effectively work with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create a child-centred, nurturing environment founded on mutual respect to promote
• A collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and willingness to work with others effectively to support the school’s mission, values and strategic objectives.
