Southside Montessori School is seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori Directress / Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to lead our 3-6 environment and guide a dedicated team of educators.

About the Role

As a Montessori Directress / Early Childhood Teacher, you will:

• Lead and mentor a team of educators in a high-quality 3-6 Montessori environment.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate Montessori-inspired learning experiences that align with EYLF outcomes.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that respects each child’s individual development.
• Collaborate with families to support children’s growth and learning journeys.
• Be an advocate for Montessori principles, contributing to the whole-school Montessori approach.

Essential Criteria:

• Completing or have completed a Diploma in 3-6 Montessori Education (AMI or equivalent).
• Accredited, or eligible for accreditation, with NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority).
• Early Childhood Teaching qualification recognised by ACECQA.
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or full working rights.
