Southside Montessori School is seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori Directress / Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to lead our 3-6 environment and guide a dedicated team of educators.

About the Role
As a Montessori Directress / Early Childhood Teacher, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of educators in a high-quality 3-6 Montessori environment.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate Montessori-inspired learning experiences that align with EYLF outcomes.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that respects each child’s individual development.
- Collaborate with families to support children’s growth and learning journeys.
- Be an advocate for Montessori principles, contributing to the whole-school Montessori approach.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an educator who is:
- Passionate about Montessori education and child-led learning.
- Committed to early childhood excellence, with a strong understanding of EYLF and NQF.
- A natural leader and mentor, with the ability to guide and support a team.
- A reflective and continuous learner, eager to grow professionally.
- A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Essential Criteria:
- Completing or have completed a Diploma in 3-6 Montessori Education (AMI or equivalent).
- Accredited, or eligible for accreditation, with NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority).
- Early Childhood Teaching qualification recognised by ACECQA.
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or full working rights.
