3-6 Montessori Educator

Hold or working towards an AMI Montessori 3-6 diploma qualification, or equivalent, and ACECQA recognised qualification (ECT (Bachelor of Early Childhood/or equivalent). Fully registered Teacher (QLD) or eligibility to obtain QLD teacher registration.
Hold a Blue Card [Queensland’s Working with Children Check promoting child-safe schools]
Establish and maintain a mixed ability age group, preparing the environment with Montessori Materials, supporting children to self-select work and following uninterrupted work periods of free choice enabling children to work at their own pace, utilising conflict resolution, with the skill to recognise, accept and adjust for all children.
Role model respect and have the expertise to observe, critically reflect, and document children’s progress.
Be committed to ongoing individual and collaborative professional development in Montessori Education.
Building positive respectful relationships, with colleagues, parents/ guardians, and external agencies and participate actively in the life of the school community.
Be committed to staying as class educator for 3 years in 3 to 6 class.
