1. International Montessori Congress 2023:

With nearly 800 people in attendance from around the world, the IMC 2023 was an excellent opportunity to connect with our global Montessori community! Australia was very well-represented, and we congratulate all the organisers, including the Montessori Association of Thailand and our very own Bill Conway. The 30th International Montessori Congress will be held in Mexico, May 1–4, 2026 (it’s not too early to save the date!).

3. Montessori Education's Impact on Academic and Nonacademic Outcomes: A Systematic Review.

Recently published research by Randolph et al. (2023) has found the following: Relative to traditional education, Montessori education has a meaningful and positive impact on children’s academic and nonacademic (executive function, creativity and social‐emotional) outcomes. This is indicated by a meta‐analysis of 32 studies in which it was possible to compare traditional business‐as‐usual education to Montessori education. Click here to read the study.
