Our annual Head-to-Head (H2H) Forum took place in Sydney this year, welcoming Montessori school principals from all across Australia for an inspiring day of collaboration, learning, and innovation!
H2H is all about bringing together passionate leaders in Montessori education to share insights, discuss new ideas, and strengthen our incredible community of educators. Thank you to Adam Scotney, Principal of Northside Montessori School, for hosting this year.
This book has a Montessori heart, gleaned from my 20 years teaching in Montessori primary classrooms. It contains practical guidance, aligned to the development of the 6 –12 year-old child, in crafting narrative skills for the telling of powerful stories.
Our theme, “A Story to Tell”, will explore how stories shape our environments, fuel creativity, and serve as bridges—between past and present, across cultures, and linking the heart and mind.

Last year, the NSW Education Standards Authority continued to simplify teacher accreditation to reduce unnecessary administrative pressures on teachers maintaining their professional knowledge and practice. Their new video (also available as PDF presentation) outlines the improvements made to professional development requirements and the HALT process, to better support teachers.
