We are delighted to welcome Des Reuben and Amelia Cobb to the Montessori Schools and Centres Australia (MSCA) Board.
Des Reuben brings a wealth of experience in educational leadership and a deep commitment to Montessori principles. His tenure as Principal of The Montessori School Kingsley was marked by significant growth and the introduction of innovative programs. We eagerly anticipate his continued impact at MSCA, enhancing our community of educators, parents, and students in alignment with our mission.
Amelia Cobb joins the Board with a proven track record of incorporating inclusive education strategies and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into the Montessori curriculum. As the author of our Curriculum Handbooks and a leader in school improvement initiatives, her expertise will be invaluable in advancing Montessori education in our rapidly changing world.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Yan Wu and Fiona Campbell as they conclude their service on the MSCA Board. Their dedication and significant contributions have been essential to our growth and achievements. Yan and Fiona’s commitment during their tenure has made a profound impact that will be felt for years to come.

Our theme, “A Story to Tell”, will explore how stories shape our environments, fuel creativity, and serve as bridges—between past and present, across cultures, and linking the heart and mind.
