MSCA’s 2023 Grassroots Conference

It has been a busy time for MSCA as we hosted our second Annual Grassroots Conference in Melbourne on September 23rd and 24th. We listened, learned, danced, and discussed! Our conference theme, ‘From Little Things, Big Things Grow,’ guided the sessions, providing our presenters with an opportunity to share practice and inspire their peers. Keynotes covered topics such as the intersection of psychology and education, Montessori alumni and global citizenship, and the emerging landscape of generative artificial intelligence. Our theme further highlighted the power of “little things” to drive change in education and society, such as why undertaking a Reconciliation Action Plan is not just ‘nice-to-have’ but necessary.

Thank you to all our guests, presenters, and exhibitors for participating this year. The conference was another success, fostering connections, inspiring collaboration, and sparking new ideas. We believe our shared practice, experience, and insights can be leveraged to enrich the Montessori landscape even further. As we plan our 2024 events, together, we can continue to nurture young minds and create a brighter future for the custodians of tomorrow.

We are pleased to confirm that our 2024 Annual Grassroots Conference will be held in Sydney, NSW, on September 21st and 22nd. Save the date!
