Anne holds qualifications in Post Graduate Dementia Management\, Assessment and Workplace Training and Dementia Care Mapping. She has worked extensively in aged and dementia care both residential and community for the past 45 years. \nHer work takes her across Australia and the world\, providing training\, mentoring and consultation to care communities developing Montessori Environments. \nAnne is considered an Australian and world leader in Montessori Methods for dementia\, disability and ageing. She published her first book in 2017\, Forgetfulness\, Feelings and Farnarkling\, a book that examines where aged care has come from\, where we are now and where we need to  be.

With a background in elite football coaching and Montessori pedagogy\, Patrick works with schools\, educators\, and sports organisations across the globe to design child-centered movement programs for all ages. He regularly speaks at international Montessori conferences and leads the AMI-accredited Montessori Sports Fundamentals Course. Patrick is passionate about helping communities use movement to nurture independence\, wellbeing\, and the holistic development of every child. \nTom Ransom\nAfter working in a high school for two years\, Tom felt that he loved teaching\, but found many aspects of the education system he worked in troubling. When he observed in a Montessori 3-6 environment while trying to decide which school to send his son to\, Tom knew that he had found something very special. He decided to pursue this passion\, and has worked at Canberra Montessori since 2013\, in both 6-9 and 9-12 environments. \nTom began studying Montessori Sports in 2020\, and quickly realised the benefits for the whole class\, and the whole school. He runs Sport as a fully integrated part of the classroom\, where children receive lessons\, in small groups\, in the normal work cycle\, there are materials available on a shelf\, and they independently use the outdoor environment for follow up. Sport has so many benefits of a Montessori classroom that Tom says he would never want to work in an environment without it.

Learn to structure lessons\, guide behaviour\, manage transitions\, and differentiate for all abilities while teaching percussion\, drama\, and dance—with tips on finding materials and resources to make music joyful and manageable. \nMeet Your Host\nStewart-Rech\nJesam trained at WAAPA and the University of Tasmania\, completing double degrees in Piano Performance and Accompaniment. After moving to Melbourne\, she worked as a vocal accompanist and repetiteur\, where she discovered a love of theatre that continues to inspire\nher work. \nSearching for a meaningful\, non-mainstream education for her first child\, Jesam found Melbourne Montessori College\, where both of her children attended from Early Learners through to Year Six.
