The Genuine Montessori Pathway: What It Is and How It Works

What does authentic Montessori practice look like at an organisational level – and how can it be consistently supported, measured and strengthened?

This session introduces the Genuine Montessori Pathway (GMP), a structured framework designed to support schools and centres in delivering and sustaining high-quality Montessori education. Aligned with core Montessori principles and informed by global standards, the GMP provides a clear, practical pathway for continuous improvement and accountability.

In this session, we will explore:

  • What the Genuine Montessori Pathway is and the rationale behind its development
  • How the pathway functions across whole-school and centre contexts
  • The role of the GMP in supporting quality assurance, reflection and professional growth
  • How it strengthens consistency, integrity and alignment in Montessori practice
  • The benefits for leadership teams, educators and broader school communities

Designed for school leaders, educators and organisations, this session offers a deeper understanding of how the Genuine Montessori Pathway can be used as a strategic tool to guide practice, support teams and uphold the integrity of Montessori education.
