MSCA Welcomes Clinical Psychologist Andrew Fuller as Official Ambassador
Montessori Schools and Centres Australia (MSCA) is thrilled to announce the appointment of renowned Clinical Psychologist, Family Therapist, and Author Andrew Fuller as an official MSCA Ambassador.
Described as an “interesting mixture of Billy Connolly, Tim Winton, and Frasier Crane,” Andrew brings over three decades of experience putting the heart back into psychology. Having worked with more than 5,000 communities and 500,000 young people, his career began in mental health crisis teams, an experience that ignited his lifelong mission to help individuals create futures they can truly fall in love with.
Andrew is best known for pioneering the Resilient Mindset framework built on the core pillars of CPR: Connect, Protect, and Respect. He is also the creator of Learning Strengths™, a groundbreaking platform used by over 200,000 people and organizational teams worldwide to assess and leverage their cognitive potential.
Andrew’s extensive background aligns seamlessly with Montessori values of nurturing the whole child, supporting positive school cultures, and fostering lifelong learning.
Andrew is an Honorary Fellow at the University of Melbourne, scientific consultant to the ABC, Chairperson of Generation Next, Ambassador for Adolescent Success and Lions Wellbeing, and regular contributor on Radio National. He has significant global outreach experience guiding schools, leaders, and communities across Australia, the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mozambique, South Africa, and New Zealand and he has authored numerous impactful titles translated into ten languages, including Unlocking Your Child’s Genius, Guerrilla Tactics for Teachers, Your Amazing Brain, Tricky Teens, Building a Positive School Culture, and his latest book: Neuroadvantage – the strengths-based approach to neuro divergence.
In his role as Ambassador, Andrew will bring his cutting-edge research in brain science, cognitive load, learning ease, and resilience directly to the Montessori community. His practical work in mental health promotion, neuroscience in education, and supporting school leadership teams will provide immense value to our educators, students, and families.
