Bilingual Montessori Early Learning (BMEL) is a Montessori-accredited long day care service (7:30 am – 6:00 pm) registered for both Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and State Kindergarten funding.
Our programs provide an integrated Montessori education within a nurturing long day care setting, combining bilingual learning (English and Mandarin) with high-quality early childhood education. Each campus offers specialist classes, incursions, and excursions throughout the year at no additional cost to families.
At BMEL, we believe in creating diverse and meaningful learning experiences. Our events and extracurricular activities are thoughtfully scheduled across different days of the week, ensuring every child has the opportunity to participate throughout the year.

Infant–Toddler Program (1–3 years)
Cycle 1 Program (3–6 years)
Box Hill (Opening Soon)
Our Box Hill campus will offer care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, providing a seamless continuum of learning from infancy through the preschool years. Designed as a true Montessori environment, the program supports each stage of development , from the nurturing routines of the infant community to the purposeful exploration and independence of the 3–6-year-old Cycle 1 classroom.
Heathmont BMEL is Engaged in the Genuine Montessori Pathway.
Rather than an accreditation program, the Genuine Montessori Pathway (GMP) has been designed to guide schools and centres through a process of self-study, reflection, planning and ongoing assessment.
The goals of the GMP are to:
- Improve genuine Montessori practices in schools and centres.
- Support the whole organisation to engage in reflection and enhance Montessori practice.
- Strengthen teamwork.
- Improve the way schools and centres allocate their resources.
- Support schools and centres to engage in strategic planning.
- Ensure that each participating school or centre’s purpose statement will be evident in all aspects of its work.
